The design is perfect, it fits our larger float which is about 3 inches thick. and it looks sturdy and attractive. We use this for ourselves but also for our 3 French Bull Dogs who love to play in the pool with us. This protects the float from their nails. ;-} We plan to order more of these for our other pool floats.
